So many funnies... where to start

This post will take a while to write :)  There are always so many funnies in the Shawler's, Inc household.

Gma and I went to the doctor on Sept.  14.  He told us we were both doing great!  She immediately went home and fell.  This, OF COURSE, is only funny because the goose egg (or ostrich egg as one of my friends called it) turned out to be a bump and nothing more.  She didn't have a problem with confusion-- more than normal or any of the other things that go with serious injury that follows a bump on the floor at "top Gma speeds".  It was probably actually that top Gma speed that kept her from getting hurt worse.
"Top Gma Speeds"-- that is a term coined by Andy because even before she was old, she was not a fast mover.  So, when she went on a walker, she pushes it through a room or down a hall at a speed that would allow any tortise in the world to beat her.  She can still get around with that thing though and in her life, there is never a need to be speedy.  When I need her to be speedy, we put her in a wheelchair and away we go.

We spent a fun weekend with Andy and family.   We went to a Corn Maze... never quite got to the Maze part.  There was so much for the guys to do we just let them do what they wanted.  There was a huge jumping pillow and a "cow train".  The cow train was not much of a favorite with Holliday although she was a good sport and rode with her guys anyway :)
That is AIDAN behind his daddy although he ended up riding in front of mommy because of safety.

After the corn maze we went to Der Dutchman for dinner... a family favorite!  We all ate too much and then went to the hotel where A n H were staying.  Of course, that time at the hotel had to include a swim.  Drew's life is not complete on any visit unless I swim with him :)  He rode with me to Hilliard from Der Dutchman.  Who knew an entire 30 minute drive could be taken up with conversation about farts?!?  Of course I knew this because I have lived with Adam and/or Adam and Andy for more than a dozen years now ;)
